Fist project first semester. My word was dynamic. Using a grid of either 1", 1/2", or even 1/4", we had to use black and white contrasting
Abstract Attempt (LOL)
For this assignment, we had to pick an artist from the famous Bauhaus School and imitate their style. I chose Wassily Kandinsky's Small Worlds IV.

Project #2: Ninja Training Circuit
"The purpose of this project is to create a three dimensional design solution that demonstrates the concept of entry, path and place (public and private). Each student should consider the use of structural grids, geometry and contrasts (solid/void, rectilinear/curvilinear). Exploit the dynamics of asymmetry.
You are asked to design a Training Course for students of the ancient art of Ninjutsu. The project is a physical fitness circuit, in which individual exercises are performed at stations along a path. You shall attempt to design an environment that reflects the spirit of the emerging Ninjutsu warrior as one who adheres to a very strict philosophy based on harmony and proportion, and on deception and suggestion rather than brute force. By practice and knowledge the Ninjutsu warrior accomplishes his or her goal with a minimum expenditure of energy. You should adopt this design attitude."
